Limited Edition Prints – perfect for that special person or that special occasion.
The Limited Edition prints are reproductions printed in a manner that ensures the highest quality image with very high archival qualities and a colour gamut (range) that maintains the nuances of the colours that are so important in John’s imagery. Using tried and tested equipment and media, this process is often referred to as Gicleé printing. The images are printed on a softly textured mould made paper from the St. Cuthberts Paper Mill in the UK, which is acid free, archival and contains no optical brighteners. St. Cuthberts as a Paper Mill dates back to the 1700’s. The printers used are made by Epson using the latest pigment ink technology to ensure decades of fade resistance. This is measured in a test known as the Blue Wool test and is expected to score in excess of 6 on a scale of 1-8 with an 8 score being in excess of 100 years plus.
